Overview

Designing Embedded Systems and Programming for an Engineer is unlike Computer Hardware design or Programming. Whereas the World of the Computer Programmer has become highly standardized and for some, even monotonous, the Embedded System Programmer has many critical decisions to make that significantly affect the overall Project.

Objective

So What Does it take to Become an Embedded Engineer?
Embedded System is an exciting and competitive discipline. This Technology focuses on the boundary between Hardware and Software and explore the levels of Hardware and Software in the vicinity of this boundary. An enthusiast in this field should realize this boundary as the central to this discipline, It is where compilation in Software ends and interpretation in Hardware begins. It is obvious that such an Engineer would need to have intimate knowledge of the innards of the digital domain. Even if he aimed to become an Embedded Systems Programmer, He/She would need to have much greater familiarity with the Hardware subsystem than any applications programmer could hope to have. He would also need to have a close familiarity with the Tools that He uses to generate code.

Eligibility

B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentations and Electrical Engineering discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Final year students with good Academic track record can also apply.
